Spread the Word! 'Your Day Without Shoes' is Coming June 11!

The Primalfoot Alliance is proud to announce "Your Day Without Shoes," an event coming June 11 to encourage people to go barefoot for a day...for themselves.

Too often in the developed world, going barefoot in public is considered taboo and even dangerous, but we barefooters have found great benefits from keeping our shoes off and walking with only the feet we were born with. A recent poll shows that 3 out of every 4 people would go barefoot in public at least some of the time if they thought it was socially acceptable.1 So let's make it! We want to share that enjoyment with others and are giving our friends all over the world Your Day Without Shoes!

Lots more details are on their way to the event site: YourDayWithoutShoes.com. We'll be providing lots of information there as the day gets closer. Keep checking back!

Also, make sure to RSVP on our Facebook event and share the date with all your friends. Tell them that "Your Day" is coming.

1. The question "Would you go totally barefoot in public if it was socially acceptable and the weather was nice?" was answered by 533 users on Facebook. 78% responded either "Sure, some of the time," or "Absolutely, almost always." The poll carries a 95% confidence level with 4.25% margin of error.

Isn't your Facebook poll a little biased?

On the contrary, the poll is actually very representative of ALL users of Facebook. It was carefully authored to be inclusive of barefooters and non-barefooters alike. As we stated above, the poll has a 95% confidence level with 4.25% margin of error.

While the results may be surprising -- they actually were to US -- apparently a lot of people are a lot more willing to go barefoot than even we thought.

Would have been interesting to know the ages of those who were positive about it, was there an age bias in one direction or another. And gender as well.

This event needs some good publicity. ABC's World News gave "Tom's Day Without Shoes" some major publicity on April 8. It would be great if Primalfoot Alliance can do the same for "Your Day WIthout Shoes".

I hope this catches on like wildfires in dry grass. I would also like to see our school systems adopt this and allow our children the option to free their feet while learning. I go barefoot majority of the time except when working.

I agree with previous posts needs LOTS of media attention if at all possible.

I passed on the word about "Your Day Without Shoes Day" at Primalbeings.com. Hope the shoes come off by the millions.
