We can't make anyone go barefoot if they don't want to, and we recognize that there are specific groups of people who should NOT go barefoot. All that said, we turn around and ask, "Why do so many people want to wear shoes all the time?" We want people to have a healthy respect for their own feet and open themselves up to new, amazing possibilities by letting their feet be feet first. We also want for people to respect our preference to go barefoot. Just like some prefer to wear their hair differently or get a tattoo, we prefer to not wear shoes.
